SKM’s outdoor bus stop poster advertisement “A Nation of Kindness starts with One” emerged the winner in MediaCorp’s The Laurels 2015 on 16 April in the Favourite Outdoor Campaign category.
The ad was a call to action inviting passersby to take a selfie with the poster and upload the photo to their social media platforms with the hashtag #NationofKindness. To widen the ripple effects of kindness further, each hashtag was matched by SKM’s corporate partners Gardenia, F&N and Super to donate a food item to the needy in Singapore.

Organized by MediaCorp for the ninth consecutive year now, The Laurels recognizes Singapore’s favourite ads, with the aim of celebrating the innovative works of the local creative and media industry.
Viewers were encouraged to vote online (voting was free-of-charge but limited to one vote per day) for their favourite ads in a four-week-long voting contest.
